went to employee dinner last night.

I went out in the snow to knock snow of some of our tree bushes that were being bent over with weight. I managed ok w/o falling over.

So today I see ENT in 2 hrs. I get on the phone w SBI and Katie tells me, oh I just sent out the xrays yesterday here is the fedex number. Should be there by 10-an hr before your ENT apt.

She further xplained that Matt did give her the xrays to mail, but that the Doc was still using them for a book he is writing.

I asked about my eye and what kind of drops I should get. She said he would give the ino to Matt.

Hope xrays get here in 45 mins.
Plus, ive always heard that fedex is better than ups.

I hope my ENT takes the time to learn about endo. I have my vid of the resection and basic approach shahinian uses.

my wow account is up to 125 on ebay, and ive had peeps offer 400 already for it. im not sure wether to wait or just take the 400

woot

just got off the phone with Shahinian again,
states that the wound looks good(I sent him high rez pix) (see the foto link)
and the drip has stopped. I am to continue taking the AcetaZolamide until the bottle is out to decrease intracranial hypertension and CSF flow.

He said to see ENT this Fri to get EVERY OTHER staple out starting from the bottom. Then over the weekend, if no leak-Get the rest of the staples out Monday-Then Staple Frankenstein free@!

Still havent gotten out Xrays back yet our pre and post MRIs

just got back from some social interaction with work buddies at lunch. I ordered a salad and took to long to eat it. GOt it to go.

I did ok but now I understand my AN bretheren about the need for LIP READING, I was surrounded by friends, most of them were on my good ear right side.
I had one on my left and when he would talk I would turn and listen to him with my good ear..

that was already taken over by conversation on my right, background noise and music in the restaurant all on one side,
then my friend on my left would talk but his volume was like a 3 compared to a 8-9 of other noise, and I could not mentally seperate them,
so I found I was looking at his lips trying to grasp at what he was saying.

I think I just nodded my head yes yes yes to everything he said. I got maybe 45% of it, some context about an adoption going bad, not working out.

I did ok.

I slept in too late and my buddy who took me to the restaurant busted in the door, MARCO!, I woke up.

Sleeping heavy now, and having dOOZIE night sweats, as in sopping wet on my side and stuff. I don know if I break out into a fever in my sleep but it reminded me of malaria sweats I used to have 12 yrs ago.

Cerebral Spinal Fluid Leak has stopped. I am to take a foto of the wound and send it to Matt @ SBI for the Doc to look at and call them Wed. -tomorrow.

Looking foward to some more episodes of LOST we burned through 4 episodes lastnight. They leave you on the edge of your seat-so its good to see it on DVD to see what happens next FAST instead of having to wait a week for the next episode.  Wen likes Sawyer.

Well I had my first onslaught of social interaction today over the course of about 3 hours.
First I left the house.
OMG!
My wife Wen is helping with driving so out of her busy schedule she took the time to come home and take me to work around 2pm to talk to HR bout the scary theme called “benefits”

I am trying to see if i can qualify for some disability due to hearing loss but am afraid that LIFEWISE might not have that specific benefit for me-they have hand foot and eyeBALL loss.etc, I will battle them more on Wed.

Apparently in 2007 January my company is switching to principal where, yes of course, there will be a loss of hearing benefit, even 25% hearing loss, 50%, etc, Mine is essentially 50% but I am thinking of course that since I had my tumor taken out under another policy and hearing loss as a result:it does not fall under the Jan 1 2007 NEW POlicy FUASUKUKSFKUSFKUSFKUKFASFUASKFSFAKSUFKUSKUKUfcuk!

So after the tumor was taken out the doc said I had only about 4 months to live.
So heck, I had some time to get under that new policy, shoulda waited another 2 months,
but heck, they probably have some pre-existing condition prequalifier anyway, well i got it out because it was squishing my brain stem so much the diameter of my central canal was squished in (the tube that carries Cerebral Spinal Fluid from your head down to your ass and back)

Tackled social interaction with old coworkers and felt good, I wanted to laugh alot but couldnt because I was falling over and I look like a spaz with my face weaker on the left than on the right, I can close my left eye but only when my right eye closes so its a real pita, and its drying out.

I have been doing ebay all day too, selling stuff,
tried to take a picture of an item to sell with my digiSLR and both my eyes closed when I squinted to take it, WTF what a drag.
im going to buy some tears at the pharmacy tonight.

Heard Wen come home, but it was my friend Brian ran downstairs telling me I got a burrning pan upstairs, waddled up the stairs, all my shrimp and veggies burnt!
The shrimp shrank to the size of a black booger.
I was pissed. Fucking WoW!

Im gonna tackle an onslaught of site and sound with pirates of the caribean tonight in our “SURROUND STERO SOUND video movie room, and am tackling some deftones right now which sounds like crap
although my favorite song sounds 85% ok. still cant cry on left, this song tested that.

well deftones music is like the latter type with one ear-the ones you catch your friends sucking on the metal orifice saying GROSSSS dduudde, dont do that@! but your thirstier thatn hell and you know your friend or the school bully has his slobber all over the fountain-so you have to cautiously lap up with your tougue what you can get from the dribble.
Music is not what it was to me.

YEsterday the drip stopped with meds shahinian gave me. side effects though were Lethargy (more than normal) and a bloody nose at night.

MAtt called today. said he didnt get the wound fotos at staff@ SBI.com email. so I had him on the phone while I mailed him the fotos.
They are looking forward to my call Wed Morning.
The Doc is on this one like nothing I’d ever seen before.

I think without the drip my Intracranial pressure is normalizing perhaps.

watched endless episodes of LOST on a dvd my friend Brian let me borrow.

I sleep on the couch still with head at 45 and legs raised, i sleep ok. New meds are putting me out of tune-lowers my mental status to like a 3 out of 5. I look drunk. Forum grp states theres usually a facial nerve swelling at 10 days postop but I dont notice. I cant close my left eye by itself. and its dry all the time. I usually raise my hand to close it to keep it safe and sound in its cave.

Planning on talking to my HR and seeing coworkers today if I can.

ALSO buying a WOW card to wean my credit card off of Monthly charges and wean my self off the cocaine mmorpg world of warcraft and ebay the fkcr.

Its been 26 mos since I joined THAT matrix and neo i mean kuato is gonna get me out.
