About 2 years ago had a wonderful trip with my loving wife to San Francisco. Was thinking about that trip today. Her brother Jesé is coming up and we are excited!

Well near the end of the day. some staff guides started to celebrate their day off weekend in a long time. They drove us to Happy Valley, area of the falls to cast for salmon off the beach. We took the lodges, old 4×4 Chevrolet. One can drive out on the beach here in the Alaska Frontier, so they did it drunk. Howie, one of the lodge guides, decided to get in a tussle with Bob. It was all fun n games until Bob got dumped in the water. He could take it though, he scored a salmon King x2! He got his second one! I asked if I could hold it. Also, the afternoon was too stormy to go out for Halibut so we cut it short to stay safe. It has been a blast at the trophyking.com lodge, and have some good memories stored up. I just made 2 photo books via flickr/QOOP. We fly out of Homer at about 1130 tomorrow morning, hopefully with 100 pounds of fish each.
Here is a great funny vid on how Halibut can get out of control. Crapola, our boat buddy Bob out of Spokane scored our first Salmon this morning at about 530am. 45 pounds!  3 men and a baby!  Later in the Afternoon, I scored the biggest Halibut so far out of our boat at about 48 Lbs. More pix here, check out the Spit tourist area fotos in Homer. We went to the infamous Salty Dawg Tavern. Here is Bob’s Salmon catch on vid! And here is my Halibut. Well got up at 430 am this morning. We got smoked on early Salmon at the start of the day. The water ws too muddy. Later that afternoon went out again for Halibut. the first spot was dead. The second spot nicknamed the “44”, was a gold mine. We each caught at least 20 Halibut, and we got picky on size!
