WEll it is almost a year post op.
11-29-06.

Work is fine. I swam laps most the summer, gained weight not lost it!
Tenative goal of doing IRONMAN COR DA LANE in 2010.
My friend Brian Travis has influenced me.

Get in shape 2008.

I have not posted in awhile.

I am now about 9 months post op.
I am having numbness return to my toungue and it is spreading to my teeth and gums. I have an appointment with Dr. Steege in Seattle, Swedish Hospital just to give a rundown of my history Dx, operation, and post op issues.
My question will be if my trigeminal is just adjusting still post op…
or..trigeminal permanently damaged from tumor, and resection..
or..remission /gasp hope not!

Feeling in shape more than ever before and did my first SPRINT TRIATHLON!

my goal was to finish and not crash into anyone dizzy! and boy was I dizzy getting out of the water!! woot!

I have a friend that has done Ironman, and I am having masochistic dreams of doing that before I am over” the hill” 40-

had 5 month mri followup this morning.
Alot easier with only one ear.
with two ears one feels like Jimmy Stewart at the end of Vertigo. ENT Patton to send reading to Shahinian.

the bill from Ghodsian was taken care of by Blue Cross.
His office had sent it to the wrong adress.

I was encouraged today by an email I recieved from John Casper, a Graphic Designer in NYC. He states he was impressed with my tumor and the amount of humor I used to get through.

Humor has always been overwhelmingly present in my life. Even with serious things such as work, sex, and even tumors.

I am payaso.
If there were no humor, this world would be full of a bunch up stuffed upped tightasses with brooms up their butts.

I am going to a Neurosurgeon in Seattle tomorrow. Dr Steege at swedish to show all MRI’s and question him about remission, and metal mouth taste. (trigeminal nerve).
