I&#8217;m too tired to do another one.<\/p>\n<p>too cool.<\/p>\n<p>I just got off the phone with Shahinian.<br \/>\nI am now about 12 days post op.<\/p>\n<p>This last Tues a drip started at the base of the last staple.<\/p>\n<p>I thought it was csf, wasnt sure. Called SBI, talked to Matt, said he would get back to me with a ossible prescription.<br \/>\nWaited.<br \/>\nWaited.<\/p>\n<p>He called back, left a msg to see if still dripping, left a number to call.<br \/>\nI called direct to Shahinians right hand person (roxy) because they wanted to call meds in directly to my locl po-dunk town walgreens.<br \/>\nI call Walgreens today at 3-still no meds.<\/p>\n<p>So I call the SBI on call service and pushed the number that corresponds with an &#8220;Emergency&#8221;.<br \/>\nA lady takes my name and number and number to the pharmacy.<br \/>\nI hang up.<\/p>\n<p>Ring Ring<\/p>\n<p>Shahinian on the phone.<br \/>\nasks if have temperture, how long dripping and how drips.<br \/>\nTells me I am going to get a refill of the cipro and another med to attend to the drip.<\/p>\n<p>He explained the tumor was so big that the space is still being filled and the wound needs to drain.<br \/>\nHe then said He was going to call it in and call me back.<\/p>\n<p>Hangs up.<\/p>\n<p>I kinda chuckled knowing he was going to call walgreens and get the press 1 for spanish, and all the submenus needed to get into the right menu to do a presc order in.<\/p>\n<p>10 mins later he calls on his cell telling me its done, and to call him back on Mon-tues and send high rez fotos of the wound.<br \/>\nHe said that the staples shouldnt come out on Monday as previously planned.<\/p>\n<p>I then mentioned I see my local ENT to get the staples out This coming Friday-he was stern and direct and said I am not do to anything till he sees the images and talks to me on Tues.<\/p>\n<p>I was very impressed with him not forgetting about me and keeping me under watch from afar-especially taking the time to call me at 8pm on Sat NIGHT! Cool<\/p>\n<p>Very impressed<\/p>\n<p>Addendum 2 hrs later.<\/p>\n<p>Just got back from Walgreens<br \/>\nHave refill of Cipro Antibiotic and<br \/>\ncopy paste<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Acetazolamide<\/p>\n<p>which is to reduce CSF leakage.<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday, December 09, 8:32 PM &#8211; marco This post is a copy paste of what I posted on my own support group site.
