If it weren’t for the internet, I wouldn’t have been able to flood my mind with knowledge about ANs.
For some funny reason, SBI told me that they could not give any info out about their patient to patient program they advertise.
So I just google and network my self.
I was able to get a hold of a patient of skull base institute on the anausa.org forums -named eronbaum. eronbaum called me the other day from Savannah Georgia and talked about his experience at skull base.
He’s about the same age, height, left side AN and everything. I asked him what was the last thing he remembered before being put out under anesthesia. He stated in his southern drawl, “all I bout remember was my head getting put in that bracket thang, then from then on it was..lights out”.
Heck, I sure don’t want to have that image in my head before I go down..something out of the SAW series. jeepers creepers
