Kill Kuato

Well last weekend I busted my ass doing 50 miles over about 3.5 hrs on my ten speed, so I decided to bust my ass again coming up on Sept 27th. 100 Miler! Last year I did the 25 mile version of Mike Utleys Bike o’rama on my crappy mountain bike. I also took a shot at a cow elk with my longbow this last Thursday, but just missed. It was a down hill shot up at Grouse Springs. Arrow went right under his belly.

I completed my 2nd Olympic size Triathlon this morning. I will post my times and pix soon.

I was about last place I believe because I had a flat tire about a mile into the bike. My sister and father and wife came out to cheer me on. I felt proud in finishing my 2nd one! My only goal this year was for 1 olympic. which I did in Chelan. I now need to realize that these are incremental goals and I cannot slack off between races. It cost me this one and I felt it on the bike and run.

Finished 14th in my age division in my first OLYMPIC Triathlon! Swim was 1400 meters, bike, 24 miles, and a 6 mile run. just under 3 hrs. I am proud.

Just got back from surfing @ the groins listed here. I rented a suit and 8’7 long board there for about 32 bucks.  The wetsuit is an excel and is excellent.  I used my 2xu tri suit yesterday and got about 5oo yards in of ocean bay swimming across half moon bay.

I have my own booties. I was going to use my tri suit but decided not to to protect the seams.  I need to talk to an avid triathloner to see if my suit fits.  If it does not, I may have to get a new one, lose some cash and get an  XL.  After lunch and a nap, gonna surf the Jetty in an hr and fly our new kite. It is still raining. 8(. pix soon..

Well road my bike today to work.  Left 430 am, got there 2 hrs and 12 minutes later.

30 miles there.  Went to swim 1400 yards at noon. Then back 30 miles on bike.
